“Design in Macau” by students from USJ

活動日期: 2011年06月14日 — 07月02日

CREATIVE MACAU Center For Creative Industries is very pleased to present “Communication & Media, Design in Macau” an exhibition by the students of Saint Joseph University at Macau, from 15th June to 2nd July, 2011.

This exhibition achieves three goals: First of all, it acts as a springboard for future Macau and showcase the contemporary design by new talented creators. Next, drive a platform for exchanging ideas with the achievable consumers and with the public in order that they could inspire new ideas. Lastly, meet investors, entrepreneurs and manufacturers. Considering creativity as an industry, three important stages, which are Creation, Production and Distribution, are fundamental to become successful in the market. The motto “Creations, Skills and Emotions” is the key of students from Communications & Media and Design program who have developed their ideas during the academic years.

UNIVERSITY OF SAINT JOSEPH at Macau

Welcome to the USJ “Communication & Media and Design in Macau” Student Exhibition 2011, where we proudly display works from our students of the Communication & Media and Design degrees. The exhibition expresses the start of a new era. In the ever-evolving world of manufacturing and consumerism, this exhibition marks the transition from “Made in Macau” to “Designed and Created in Macau”.

The aims of the show are to inspire and develop the creative talent of our students and to assist them on the road to become professional communicators and designers. The projects of this year’s finalists prove that students are well on their way. The USJ faculty is honored to share our expertise and experience with our students and, along with Creative Macau, are proud to present the outcome with Macau and the Pearl River Delta region. We wish all our students the utmost success in their future careers in whichever field they chose.

We would also like to take this opportunity to introduce the 1st Communication & Media and the 2nd Design Awards Ceremony competition, which will be held on the 25th of June at 6pm.
