【Under The Sea】 – woodblock print workshop

Mokuhanga is a traditional printmaking method made with multi-colors woodblocks, it is also a non-toxic printmaking method. The process includes drawing, carving, and printing. The major period is also known as Ukiyo-e. The purpose of this course is to let everything trying out carving and knowing the printing method.Upon getting to know the usage of different knives, participants can try to make their first print. This course is suitable for creative people who want to create new things while learning.

WORKSHOP takes place at CREATIVE MACAU – G/F Macau Cultural Centre Building, Xian Xing Hai Avenue
Admission: Free (MOP$50 for woodblock and paper to be paid to instructor on 2 September)
Language: English (complemented with Cantonese)

Age: 12+

The maximum no. of seats for this workshop is 12 – on a first come, first served basis.
