Organized by Hong Kong Design Centre, the Business of Design Week 2005 (BODW 2005) was held on 19-23 November in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

Business of Design Week was a celebration of design excellence in Hong Kong. It offered a rare opportunity for experts and decision makers from the government, business and academic sectors to come together to recognize and address the role of design in the cultural and economic growth. For the fourth year in a row, Business of Design Week 2005, themed “LifeStyleAsia“, showcased outstanding design and marketing ideas of Hong Kong and Asia to the world, and at the same time offered valuable insight into successful design, marketing and branding case studies from around the world.
