Vivian Kuong

Vivian Kuong was born and raised in Macau. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Vivian is a designer and an educator with a wide range of a professional, academic and volunteer experience across the continent. She has worked at Kengo Kuma Associates in Tokyo, Japan, and has practiced in a few boutique architectural firms in Los Angeles. She also has volunteer for Youth With A Mission at Kona, Hawaii and Lausanne, Switzerland. Her work has been exhibited at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and UCLA. Vivian is also active in academia. She is an adjunct faculty at the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

In her work, Vivian likes to challenge the ordinary elements in architecture. She has explored the role of walls, ceilings, columns, gas stations in various project.  Besides architecture, Vivian is interested in music, hand drawing, photography, and painting. She would love the opportunity to collaborate with other creatives in Macau on publication, curatorial design, and other forms on visual medium.
