Juin Tam

Juin Tam was born in 1963 in Macau. He graduated from the Fashion Academy in Canada in 1984, where he studied fashion design. In 1985, he moved to Europe, where he continued his education of photography. In 1989, Juin opened his first studio in Toronto named as Juin begins and in 1992 Juin showed his first collection both in Montreal and New York. In 1994 he had his second work shop name as Juin Studio opened in Toronto. He established his new Avant-Grade style and striking a lot of the people in the art world. Juin’s early collections were influenced by Matsude and Yohji Yamamoto’s traditional Japanese folk wear. Today his timeless Japanese design are well know as East meet West. In 1999, Juin Tam had been selected as the best clothing designer in Toronto. In 2003, he moved back to Macau and opened up his IMPACT High Fashion Consultant Ltd.

“My design never in fashion, never out of fashion, you can understand them the way you want. You can wear them the way you like.” Juin says.
