Venus Yuen Yee Chan grew up in Macau. She graduated from Art Center College of Design with a degree Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design. She is the design student of Mr. Lai Ieng, Mr. Chan Tat Teng and Mr. Henry Ma at the Amateur Continuing Study Centrein Macau. She studied at the Art Center College of Design majoring in Product Design. She obtained the Master of Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. As a student, she was the recipient of the Ford Minority Scholarship and was awarded with the Superior Achievement in crafts & jewelry design.  She studied Mosaic Arts in Italy. Being trained as a product designer, she has the opportunity to work on a wide spectrum of projects. She has worked in areas like exhibition, furniture, toy and jewelry. She has worked as the Props technician for Cirque du Soleilat Macau Venetian Hotel.Her product concept was awarded as the best of design at The First Competition & Symposium of Design for Souvenir and Gift of Macao Tourism. She in 1995-2004She has had Gallery exhibitions from 1995-2004, including (Mosaic Table – China and the West: Cultural Influence & Innovation, Food Utensil – Utilized rapid prototyping technology to create prototypes, Guitar Effect Pedal – Researched and Improved Interface Design, completed full production drawings)

She teaches Product Design, Design History, 3D design, Stage Design, Mosaic Arts, Decoupage Arts, Branding Strategy, Souvenir Designat various institutions.
