Huang Min Yi

Huang Minyi is a doctoral candidate in design studies. Since 2006, she has been engaged in visual arts design and higher education teaching. She is currently a senior craft artist in graphie design with an associate senior title, the founding president of the Macau Smart City Art Development Association, and a guest lecturer at the Macau University of Science and Technology and the City University of Macau. She has participated in multiple design projects for the 16th Asian Games, winning several first prizes and implementing them. She has received dozens of awards in national and provincial design competitions and has been recognized as an excellent guiding teacher in several major competitions. She has curated exhibitions such as “70th Anniversary of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Macau Special Exhibition,” “Urban Memory Generator – Macau,” and served as the chief planner for the Macau Cultural Fund-supported project “Environmental Aesthetics of Life,” the cross-strait art designer exhibition “Children’s Paintings and Intangible Cultural Heritage,” and the “Environmental Recycling × Design Aesthetics” lectures and workshops. Her main research areas include visual communication design, cultural heritage studies, and sustainable research on urban technology and humanities.
