Kuok Woon

He is a fulltime professional modern art artist who was born in China in 1942. He moved to Hongkong in 1962 after studying in GuangZhou’s Academy of Fine Arts in China and later settled in Macau in 1980. His reputations and contributions to arts earned him several positions and memberships with many reputable Art societies and organizations worldwide. As an international artist, he has held more than 20 solo exhibitions and at least 100 joint exhibitions with many achievements and awards. He is famous for his mixed media work, collage, oil paintings and installation art works. Many of his works are now kept by art museums and government agencies in Macau. In 1997, he co-founded the Macau International Visual Art Centre with artist, Joana Ling. They also created the mural painting in the famous Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre in Macau in 1999.
