Maria Odeta Silva Sequeira (M.O.S.S.)

(M.O.S.S.) was born in 1957 in Aveiro. Always passionate about arts, in the 80’s, with the opening of the Arts Centre of São João da Madeira, she had a brief incursion in arts, due to a professional career in courts having led her to more distant places. She was a student of master Victor Costa and sculptor João Antero Guimarães, having started off in the areas of painting and sculpting.

Only after retiring from public service was possible for her to revisit those old interests, beginning with painting and sculpting, as self-employed.

2017, she participated in a collective exhibition, at the Convento dos Loios Museum and at the Municipal Library of Santa Maria da Feira, following invitation from the Local Municipality.

2017, having returned to Macau, she enrolled the Arts and Crafts School of Casa de Portugal where she is a student of teacher Madalena Fonseca, at painting and engraving, and also at the ceramics atelier, where she has been dedicating herself to sculpting.

2018, she participated in a collective exhibition within the commemorations of the 65th anniversary of the Macau Grand Prix.

2019, March, she participated in a collective exhibition, at the Loios Convent Museum and at the Municipal Library of Santa Maria da Feira, following invitation from the Local Municipality.
