Gonçalo Magalhães

1974 – Born in Luanda, Angola. 1995/96 – Attends short-term courses of Video and Animation at CAI, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon, Portugal. 1996/97 – Studies photography with Mica Costa Grande at the Academy of Visual Arts, Macau Polytechnic Institute. 1998 – The HK Magazine publishes “Macau Close Up”, a photo essay of his works about Macau. 1999 – Singaporean Magazine Brave publishes “The Last Frontier”, featuring some of his works about Macau and words by Henrik Bergquist. 2002 – Works published by the Macau New Times, as part of the project “Photographers for a City”
