Tang Kuok Hou

Tang Kuok Hou Born in Macau, in 1989 with a BA in Sociology from the University of Macau, Tang is founders of the Macau photo collective – “Dialect”. He has participated in more than 60 arts exhibitions in Macao and overseas besides two solo shows. He takes on such themes as city, time, memory and local culture to explore, through man-made landscape, the interconnection among urbanites, landscapes and human existence versus Nature, as well as their respective meaning. His works were collected by collector, local organizations, University of Macau, Orient Foundation, Creative Macau – Center for Creative Industries, Macau Museum of Art and Portugal PLMJ Foundation. His photobook “LINE” is now in the collections of the Centre George Pompidou, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia and Gulbenkian museum libraries.
